The business was established in 2014 and grew from a background in practical woodland management and low-impact forestry. Our experience with portable capstan winches began through using them for woodland work, particularly where access for tractors and larger machinery was difficult.
Over the past 10 years, Treadlight Forestry has increasingly specialised in portable capstan winches and associated equipment. Today we supply customers throughout the UK, from woodland owners and forestry and arboricultural professionals to organisations using portable winches for industrial and specialist applications.
