The DOCMA VF1400 Red Shark is built for timber movement and recovery jobs that demand higher direct pulling force. Its Solo by AL-KO two-stroke engine drives a planetary gearbox integrated into the capstan drum.
Features and benefits
- Prioritise force. The Red Shark trades some line speed and carrying weight for greater pulling capacity than DOCMA’s smaller ForestWinch models.
- Brake between pulls. An automatic brake supports load control when the pull stops.
- Compact transmission. The gearbox sits within the drum and is removable for access.
Rope and use
The manufacturer specifies rope, 12 mm in diameter. Follow DOCMA’s instructions for rope selection, rope turns, anchoring and load control.
For pulling only; do not use for lifting. Follow the operating instructions for safe setup and load control.
