The DOCMA VF80 Bolt suits timber movement and recovery jobs where rapid rope travel and easy handling matter. Its compact body and structural carry handle help you move and position the winch around the work site.
Features and benefits
- Control through rope tension. Pulling the rope operates the accelerator; releasing it activates the automatic brake.
- Keep lighter loads moving. This model favours line speed over the higher pulling force of the VF105 Red Iron.
- Reach beyond the drum. The capstan arrangement feeds rope through continuously, so working distance depends on rope length.
Rope and use
The manufacturer specifies rope, 10–12 mm in diameter. Follow DOCMA’s instructions for rope selection, rope turns, anchoring and load control.
