Description

Two gears for heavy pulls and faster returns

The EDER Winch 1800 gives you a choice between maximum pulling force and faster rope travel. Its Active two-stroke engine and two-speed planetary gearbox suit heavy timber extraction and ground-level recovery.

Features and benefits

  • Match the gear to the load. First gear prioritises force; second gear doubles line speed with a lower pulling rating. Change gear only as instructed in the manual.
  • Control at the free rope end. Rope tension operates the throttle, allowing you to work clear of the winch.
  • Pause without losing progress. The rope brake clamps the line when tension is released, helping prevent unintended rollback.

Rope and use

The manufacturer specifies synthetic rope, 12–14 mm in diameter. Rated pulling force depends on the correct rope and rigging.

For pulling only; do not use for lifting. Follow the operating instructions for safe setup and load control.
