The EDER Winch 500 B is a light STIHL battery capstan winch for game recovery, lighter load movement and cable pulling. Its compact body reduces the carrying burden when work takes you away from vehicle access.
Features and benefits

- Battery convenience. Starting is straightforward without petrol handling or exhaust at the machine.
- Flexible anchoring options. EDER offers a slinging aid, rigging plate and trailer-coupling attachment for different setups; these are sold separately.
Rope and use
The manufacturer specifies synthetic rope, 8–10 mm in diameter. The current winch manual states that the 500 B has no rope clamp; do not assume the stop-and-hold behaviour of the larger EDER models. For pulling only; do not use for lifting. Compatible with STIHL AP batteries marked S and the newer STIHL AP ALLPRO batteries marked P.
