Description
Higher-capacity lifting power for site work
The PCH2000 combines a Honda GX160 engine with a large capstan drum for lifting equipment and pulling loads. It offers greater single-line lifting capacity than the PCH1000, with a heavier machine suited to demanding site work.
Features and benefits
- Lift, hold and lower. The Progressive Capture System retains rope between movements and provides controlled release for lowering as described in the manual.
- Power on demand. The centrifugal clutch keeps the drum stationary at idle and engages through rope-operated control.
- Work over long rope runs. Rope feeds through the 108 mm capstan rather than winding onto a storage drum.
Rope and use
The manufacturer specifies low-stretch, double-braided polyester rope, 12–13 mm in diameter. Pulling and lifting ratings are different. For lifting, the manufacturer specifies its 12 mm rope with a spliced eye and thimble. Use the required lifting accessories and anchoring arrangement, and follow the hoist manual.
