Description

Forestry pulling power without a petrol engine

The EDER Winch 1200 B brings STIHL battery drive to timber extraction and ground-level recovery. It combines a portable body with strong direct pull for work beyond vehicle access.

Features and benefits

  • Start between jobs with less preparation. Battery operation avoids fuel handling and exhaust at the machine.
  • Hold your progress. The rope brake clamps the line when tension is released, helping prevent rollback between pulls.
  • Control from the rope end. Rope tension operates the winch while the capstan feeds rope through continuously for long pulling distances.

Rope and use

The manufacturer specifies synthetic rope, 8–10 mm in diameter. Compatible with STIHL AP batteries marked S and the newer STIHL AP ALLPRO batteries marked P. Running time varies with load, battery and working conditions.

For pulling only; do not use for lifting. Follow the operating instructions for safe setup and load control.
