Description
STIHL power for demanding timber movement
The EDER Winch 1400 S combines a STIHL two-stroke engine with a portable capstan drive for timber extraction and ground-level recovery. It gives greater direct pulling force than the Active-powered Winch 1200.
Features and benefits
- Control from the rope end. Rope tension engages the throttle, keeping the operator clear of the winch.
- Hold between pulls. The rope brake clamps the line when tension is released, helping prevent unintended rollback.
- Reach further. Rope runs through the capstan continuously; your rope length determines working distance.
Rope and use
The manufacturer specifies synthetic rope, 8–10 mm in diameter. Rated pulling force depends on the correct rope and rigging.
For pulling only; do not use for lifting. Follow the operating instructions for safe setup and load control.
