Description

Two-stroke power with stop-and-hold control

The PCW4500 brings Maruyama CER500W two-stroke power to heavier timber movement and recovery work. Its rope brake and centrifugal clutch make it practical to stop, hold tension and continue a pull in stages.

Features and benefits

  • Keep the progress you make. The stainless-steel Progress Capture System holds rope tension between pulls, helping prevent rollback.
  • Control through the rope. Rope-operated throttle and a centrifugal clutch engage the drum for the pull and leave it stationary at idle.
  • Built for field handling. The protective footplate supports placement and starting; the tension bar helps guide rope into the drum.

For timber extraction

The included skidding cone covers the leading end of the log to help it pass obstacles and reduce snagging during extraction. Plan the pull and rigging to suit the terrain and load.

Rope and use

The manufacturer specifies low-stretch, double-braided polyester rope, 10–13 mm in diameter. Contact the manufacturer before using another rope.

For pulling only; do not use for lifting. Follow the operating instructions for safe setup and load control.
