The PCW5000 is a portable capstan winch with a 1000Kg pulling capacity.

The PCW5000 portable capstan winch is powered by a 50cc Honda 4 stroke engine – this makes it very powerful and ultra-reliable.
The 4 stroke engine means the PCW5000 runs on neat petrol and has a separate sump with oil. This type of engine is easy to start and quiet when running.
The PCW5000 weighs only 16kg meaning it is easily carried on to site.
This makes it perfect for all sorts of arboriculture, woodland and forestry applications:
Skidding logs out of hard to access places.
Safely dealing with hung up or windblown trees.
Assisted felling.
The PCW5000 uses double braided polyester low stretch rope and because it is a capstan winch the rope can be of any length.
The rope is attached to the object to be moved and wound three or four times around the capstan drum. When the engine is running, the 57 mm capstan drum rotates continuously and the friction created by pulling on the free end of the rope pulls the object.
This winch is not rated for lifting. If you need to lift with this winch consider adding the ISC Progress Capture Pulley Single (PCA-1271). Or you can swap to the Portable Winch Company – PCH1000 or Portable Winch Company – PCH2000.
